The husband of a California woman who died from ovarian cancer after using Johnson & Johnson’s talcum powder products has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the company in Los Angeles. Soren Threadgill alleges that his wife, Eva Maria Threadgill, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer as a direct result of using talcum powder products sold by Johnson & Johnson. (more…)

Johnson & Johnson loses second consecutive talcum powder lawsuit as jury awards $55 million verdict to ovarian cancer victim

Johnson & Johnson has been hit with a $55 million jury verdict in a case brought by a woman who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer after using the company’s talcum baby powder products. The $55 million verdict was the second consecutive legal defeat for Johnson & Johnson in lawsuits involving talcum powder. The company still faces hundreds of additional lawsuits regarding the link between ovarian cancer and talcum powder. (more…)
